  • Eat at least 5 portions of fresh fruit and vegetables (good for snacks between meals) Avoid grapes and mangoes in large portions as these are high in sugar
  • Water and sugar free drinks
  • Sweetened drinks and soft drinks
  • Cakes sweet and chocolate between meals as they will cause a rapid rise in blood sugar
  • Fats and salt
  • Alcohol at moderate consumption
  • Avoid being overweight and seek you doctors help for diet advice
  • Avoid grapes and mangoes in large portions as these are high in sugar
  • Dried fruits like dates are high in sugar
